Scott Fisher

Agency Principal

As the agency owner, Scott has experience in property ownership, property management, insurance. After graduating from Carson-Newman College, Scott began his insurance career with Jefferson Pilot Life Insurance Company in 1991. At C-N, he was a member of two National Championship football teams. As a native of Roanoke, Virginia, he is a proud dad to three boys; Tyler, Austin, and Christian. Scott is the head football coach at Northside High School in Roanoke, VA, and a VHSL and USSSA certified baseball official. Scott remarried in 2014, to Lisa a CTL RN at Carilion Clinic Gynecological Oncology. Lisa has two children, Alec and Kendall and their busy family resides in North Roanoke County.

Lisa Fisher

Office Manager

Lisa is from Harlan, Kentucky and moved to Roanoke as a child. She’s married to Scott Fisher and has two grown children, Alec and Kendall, and three bonus sons, Tyler, Austin, and Christian. Lisa and Scott live in Roanoke with their three fur babies Radar, Caleb, and Chloe. Before joining Fisher Insurance, she had a long, fulfilling career as an RN in GYN Specialty Department at Carilion. Lisa and Scott enjoy traveling, sporting events, spending time with family. Lisa will continue her Women’s Health career part-time while pursuing an Agent’s License to advance her career at Fisher Insurance Services.

Tyler Fisher

Licensed Agent

After graduating from Radford University in 2016, Tyler is stepping into his father’s footsteps to begin an insurance career. He double-majored in Accounting and Finance. Tyler was born and raised here in the heart of the Roanoke Valley, attending Northside High School. Tyler graduated with an advanced studies degree. As a two-sport athlete, he was the first to attain state championships in both Football (2009) and Baseball (2011). In his free time, Tyler enjoys giving back to the community by coaching football at his alma mater and traveling with friends. Tyler looks forward to helping clients by protecting the things that matter.

Austin Fisher

Licensed Agent

Austin Fisher joined Fisher Insurance Services, in early 2020. He is from the Roanoke Valley and attended Northside High School. Austin was a standout athlete for the Vikings, attaining a 2013 State Championship in Football. Austin then attended JMU where he earned a degree in Sports Management with a minor in business.

Tara Gibson

Licensed Agent

A resident of Franklin County, Tara has 25 years of insurance industry experience and has represented Rockingham Insurance for over 11 years. She enjoys customer service and helping policyholders with their insurance needs. Tara enjoys gardening, being outdoors, traveling, and all things water-related in her free time. Her true joy is spending time with friends and family, especially her twin granddaughters.
